CATALOGUE OF PAINTINGS
IN OIL AND WATERCOLOR,
BLOCK PRINTS, ETCHINGS,
DRAWINGS, LITHOGRAPHS,
PASTELS, SCULPTURE AND
POTTERY BY TOLEDO ARTISTS
IN THE ELEVENTH ANNUAL
EXHIBITION OF THE TOLEDO
FEDERATION OF ART
SOCIETIES
GALLERIES IV, VI, VIII, AND VIII-A

«

MARCH 31 TO APRIL 28, 1929

FOREWORD

' I HE present exhibition of the Toledo Federation of Art Socie-
-** ties is a departure from the precedent of previous years in
that artists have been invited to send a specific number of works
in each of several classes and no selection has been made by jury
or otherwise of the works submitted. In other words, every
work offered is shown in the exhibition save in a very few instan-
ces where a single artist submitted more than the prescribed limit
in a given class or submitted work which did not fall within any
of the classifications announced in the circular.

This non-competitive exhibition is being held in the hope that
it will bring forth a new stimulus to the art activity of Toledo.

Many of the exhibited works are for sale and prices may be had
at the office.
